Last Updated: August 15, 2026

At Inkwell Vault, we are committed to making your payment experience as smooth, secure, and straightforward as possible. This Payment Policy outlines the payment methods we accept, how transactions are processed, what to expect after payment is made, and how we handle billing-related issues. Please read this policy carefully before placing an order.

1. Accepted Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods for all orders placed on the Inkwell Vault website, including both in-stock purchases and pre-orders:

💳 Credit Card
We accept all major credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. Credit card payments are processed instantly and securely through our payment processor, Stripe. Your card will be charged at the time of checkout.

💳 Debit Card
We accept all major debit cards bearing a Visa or Mastercard logo. Debit card transactions are processed in the same secure manner as credit card payments. Please ensure that your debit card is enabled for online purchases and that sufficient funds are available at the time of checkout.

🍎 Apple Pay
Apple Pay is available for customers shopping on compatible Apple devices using Safari. Apple Pay allows you to complete your purchase quickly and securely using Face ID, Touch ID, or your Apple Watch — without manually entering your payment details. Your actual card number is never shared with Inkwell Vault during an Apple Pay transaction.

G Google Pay
Google Pay is available for customers using compatible Android devices or the Chrome browser. Google Pay allows you to check out with a single tap using your saved payment methods stored securely in your Google account. As with Apple Pay, your actual card details are never exposed to Inkwell Vault during a Google Pay transaction.

🔗 Link by Stripe
Link is Stripe's accelerated checkout solution that securely saves your payment information for faster, one-click checkout on future visits. Link is managed entirely by Stripe and your payment credentials are never stored directly by Inkwell Vault. If you choose to use Link, your information will be stored securely by Stripe in accordance with their privacy policy and PCI-DSS Level 1 compliance standards.

2. Payment Processing

All payments on the Inkwell Vault website are processed exclusively through Stripe — one of the world's most trusted payment platforms. Stripe is certified as a PCI-DSS Level 1 Service Provider, the highest level of certification in the payments industry, meaning your financial data is handled according to the most rigorous security standards available.

Key details about our payment processing:

— All transactions are encrypted using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) technology.
— Your full card number, CVV, and other sensitive payment credentials are never transmitted to or stored on Inkwell Vault's servers.
— Stripe's real-time fraud detection systems monitor every transaction to protect against unauthorized use.
— Payments are processed in US Dollars (USD) only.
— Your payment method will be charged in full at the time of checkout for both in-stock and pre-order items.

3. Currency

All prices on the Inkwell Vault website are listed and charged exclusively in US Dollars (USD). If you are purchasing from outside the United States, please be aware that your bank or card issuer may apply a foreign transaction fee or currency conversion charge. Inkwell Vault is not responsible for any additional fees charged by your financial institution in connection with currency conversion.

We recommend checking with your bank or card issuer before placing an order if you are unsure whether foreign transaction fees may apply to your purchase.

4. When You Are Charged

Your selected payment method will be charged in full at the time your order is placed and confirmed. This applies to both in-stock items and pre-orders. We do not offer a "pay later," "pay at ship," or installment payment option at this time.

By completing checkout, you authorize Inkwell Vault and Stripe to charge your selected payment method for the full order total, including any applicable taxes, at the time of purchase.

5. Order Confirmation

Upon successful payment, you will receive an order confirmation email at the email address provided at checkout. This email will include:

— Your order number
— A summary of the items purchased
— The total amount charged
— Your billing and shipping address
— An estimated processing and delivery timeline

Please review your order confirmation carefully. If any details are incorrect, contact us immediately at contact@inkwellvault.shop so we can address the issue before your order is processed.

If you do not receive an order confirmation email within 30 minutes of placing your order, please check your spam or junk folder before contacting us.

6. Payment Declines and Failed Transactions

If your payment is declined at checkout, your order will not be placed and you will not be charged. Common reasons for payment declines include:

— Insufficient funds or credit limit reached
— Incorrect card details entered at checkout
— Your card being flagged for suspected fraud by your bank
— Your card not being enabled for online or international transactions
— A temporary issue with your bank or card issuer

If your payment is declined, we recommend:

— Double-checking that all card details entered are correct
— Contacting your bank or card issuer to verify that there are no blocks or restrictions on your card
— Trying an alternative payment method
— Contacting us at contact@inkwellvault.shop if you continue to experience issues

Inkwell Vault is not responsible for payment declines caused by your bank or card issuer and cannot override a decline decision made by your financial institution.

7. Billing Address Verification

To protect against fraudulent transactions, we use Address Verification System (AVS) technology to verify that the billing address provided at checkout matches the address on file with your card issuer. Please ensure that you enter your billing address accurately and completely to avoid payment processing issues or order delays.

Orders where billing address verification fails may be flagged for manual review before processing. Our team may contact you to verify your identity or payment details if this occurs.

8. Taxes

Applicable sales tax will be calculated and displayed at checkout based on your shipping address and the applicable tax regulations of your jurisdiction. The tax amount shown at checkout is the final tax amount you will be charged — there are no hidden tax charges added after purchase.

Tax requirements vary by state and locality. Inkwell Vault complies with all applicable US sales tax regulations. If you have questions about the tax applied to your order, please contact us at contact@inkwellvault.shop.

9. Pricing and Payment Errors

We make every effort to ensure that all prices displayed on our website are accurate. However, in the event of a pricing error:

— Inkwell Vault reserves the right to cancel any order placed at an incorrect price.
— If your order is cancelled due to a pricing error, you will receive a full refund to your original payment method within 10 business days.
— We will contact you by email to inform you of the error and give you the opportunity to place a new order at the correct price if you wish to do so.

10. Refunds

Refunds for eligible returns are processed to the original payment method used at the time of purchase. Refunds are issued within 10 business days of Inkwell Vault receiving and approving the returned item. Please note:

— Refunds to credit and debit cards may take an additional 3 to 10 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your bank or card issuer's processing times.
— Refunds to Apple Pay and Google Pay are returned to the original funding source linked to those payment methods.
— Refunds to Link by Stripe are processed back through Stripe to your original payment method.
— We are unable to issue refunds to a different payment method than the one used for the original purchase.

For full details on our refund process, please refer to our Return & Refund Policy.

11. Chargebacks and Disputes

We encourage customers to contact us directly at contact@inkwellvault.shop before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with their bank or card issuer. In most cases, we are able to resolve issues quickly and to your satisfaction without the need for a formal dispute.

If a chargeback is filed without first contacting us, we reserve the right to provide our payment processor and your financial institution with all relevant order documentation, including proof of purchase, shipping confirmation, and delivery confirmation, to contest the chargeback where appropriate.

Fraudulent chargebacks — where a customer receives and keeps a product but disputes the charge — may result in the permanent suspension of your account and may be reported to relevant authorities.

12. Payment Security

The security of your payment information is of the utmost importance to us. For full details on the security measures we have in place to protect your payment data, please refer to our Secure Checkout page.

In summary:

— All transactions are SSL encrypted.
— Payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified provider.
— Your full card details are never stored on our servers.
— Fraud detection systems monitor every transaction in real time.
